so as many know....ive been df'd goin on 19 years already.

i drive pops to meetings, and drop him off on saturdays for fs.. well yesterday, the elders ask to speak to me, and tell me that if i plan on returning to jehovah, i had better shave my beard off..

lett is back with a vengance!.

* the last money-begging effort increased donations by 15% for two months; a letter by a 13 year old who donated is read out loud.

* since last may "so many good things have happened".

Yep we are making cuts at bethel, sacking bethalites, printing less of the magazines that we already cut in half, we are sacking special pioneers- all so that we could spend more of your donations in the field.

This does make sense.

So my best friend was reinstated last night

so my best friend, who also happens to be my brother-in-law, was reinstated last night.

i had an idea he was trying to make his way back to the cult since i had been texting and calling him for about 2, 3 months now and no response.

i wasn't shocked when he text me this morning to tell me the news.

however, i'm in the process of becoming one.

in fact, i'm studying with the jw's, and i'll proceed to become an unbaptized publisher as soon as i finish the first book.to make a long story short i was introduced to the truth when i was 18een.

You said your friend 'warned you that JW's tend to overanalyze one another'- you then experienced that your friend was accurate. What good would moving congregation do? You now know that JW's have a tendency to act like the Pharisees, whatever congregation you move to you will again experience this fruitage of the JW organisation that you were forwarned of.

Indeed, read some articles on the JWfacts website. God will not be angry with you for analysing the facts about this Organisation.

Many of us have been exposed to graphic pictures/discriptions of Armageddon and the destruction of society since we were babies! It would only be natural to feel fear at times. Its good to let rational thinking win over though. Is it reasonable that a God of love would slaughter billions of men, women, children and babies? Simply for not converting to the WT organisation? No its not. In such circumstance God, Jesus and his sword bearing angels would make these terrorists of IS look like saints!

I recommend reading the Armageddon section on JWfacts to unravel yourself from this evil teaching. As long as you feel fear every time a bad thing happens in the world watchtower is happy.

Sub CO and Wife, both Reg Pioneers, go back to NC to live with his Parents

this couple both in their mid 30's, lived with me for awhile and i gave them employment, because they are both regular pioneers and married right out of high school, also because i am that kind a of guy that likes to help people.

various friends have been helping them out for years, so i guess it was my turn to help them out.. the brother got stupid with me, so i told him i had enough of them both and that it was time for them to go elsewhere.. the co loved them so much, the pioneer elder was made cobe in another congregation and a sub co. the brother also got to conduct pioneer service school.

(so he is a hot shot now).

I remember in my old congregation a pioneer brother who was often commenting about how Jehovah always provides for him...he has been living on benefits for years! Yep Jehovah provides- through the state welfare system!

as most of you know i have been shunned by my family for 2 years because of a photo posted on facebook of me kissing another girl at a party.

the matter was not dealt with fairly but it is over now and i am 100% certain that jdub org is a cult.

but i miss my family so much.

Its such a tough call, there are lots of sound comments on here for you to weigh up and I don't think I can add anything. I just wanted to say i have been following your story and it is a moving one, and there are many people on here rooting for you.

six months ago i knocked on my sister's door.

she was disfellowshipped 20 years ago.. i had not seen her for years.

Six months ago I knocked on my sister's door. She was shocked to see me "God JohnFree, who has died" she said smiling. She was disfellowshipped 20 years ago.

I had not seen her for years. My first words to her were "I've left it", I went on to apologise for cutting her out of my life for the last 2 decades, I know, an apology doesn't quite make up for it. Nevertheless, she held absolutely no bitterness towards me, and a strong relationship is growing between us and our families, which is so good! Cousins playing together etc. I'm fortunate to have her! She was the first of 14 members of my extended family to leave the Borg, only 7 remain in (not including those born since). There have been many reunions over the years. Things were really tough for her when she was disfellowhipped at 18, the very age a person needs parental guidance and love. But now she has so many friends around her and much of her family. While things do not always work out this well, there is hope, people will wake up.
